SplitForms Booking is salon and spa booking software that runs in the browser. Clients pick a service, a stylist (or “Anyone available”) and a time on your booking page or the widget on your site, and can pay a deposit to your own Stripe account. It costs $100/year per account for 10,000 bookings, after a 14-day free trial, however many stylists you add.

Own hours and time off
Give each stylist their own weekly hours, or let them follow the salon’s. Time off can be whole days or part of a day, and the dashboard tells you if existing bookings fall inside it.
Who does which service
Assign services to stylists so colour only books with your colourists. Clients choose a name or “Anyone available”.
Roles for the team
Front desk handles every booking and the waitlist; a stylist with the practitioner role sees only their own appointments. Dashboard logins use your forms plan’s team seats; Booking itself is priced per account.

Deposits & no-shows
Take a deposit, fill the gap when someone cancels
Deposits through Stripe
Ask for a deposit (1–100%, 25% by default) or the full price. The slot is held for 30 minutes while the client pays on Stripe Checkout, and the money lands in your own Stripe account.
No-shows on record
Mark a missed appointment as a no-show. Each client’s history shows their visits and no-shows, and reports show the no-show rate per stylist. Refunds are yours to decide. See how no-show fees and deposits work.
Waitlist and reminders
Clients who can’t find a time can join the waitlist; when a slot frees up, the first person waiting gets an email. Reminder emails and opt-in texts go out before every appointment (20 free SMS credits to start).

A salon booking app without the app store
There is no native iPhone or Android app. Your booking page opens in any phone browser from your Instagram bio, Google Business profile or a text, so clients book without installing anything. You run the calendar from the dashboard in your own phone’s browser.

When to pick a dedicated salon suite instead
SplitForms Booking does online booking, deposits, reminders and staff calendars. It does not have point of sale, retail inventory, payroll or commissions, tips, gift cards, or packages and memberships. If you ring up retail and pay stylists from the same system, choose a salon suite built for that. If you mostly need clients to book and pay a deposit online, this is the lighter, flat-priced option.

Set up salon booking in four steps
Pick “Spa & salon” and add your menu
Create a booking page in the SplitForms dashboard and choose the Spa & salon business type. Edit the starter services into your menu, each with its own length and price.
Add your stylists
Add each stylist with their own weekly hours, the services they do and any time off. Clients can pick a stylist or “Anyone available”.
Turn on deposits
Connect your Stripe account and set a deposit (any percent, 25% by default) or full payment at booking. The money goes to your own Stripe account.
Share the link and turn on reminders
Put your booking link in your Instagram bio and Google Business profile, or add the widget to your website, then turn on email and text reminders.

Is there a salon booking app for iPhone or Android?
No native app. SplitForms Booking is a booking page and website widget that clients open in their phone's browser, so there is nothing for them to download. Your dashboard is a website too and works in a phone browser.
How much does SplitForms salon booking software cost?
$100/year (USD) per account for 10,000 bookings a year, after a 14-day free trial with no card. The price doesn't go up as you add stylists. Text reminders use SMS credits, bought separately.
Can clients choose their stylist?
Yes. When a service has more than one stylist, clients pick a name or “Anyone available”. Each stylist has their own hours and time off, and only takes bookings for the services you assign them.
How do deposits work for salons?
Set a deposit percent (25% by default) or ask for full payment. The client pays on Stripe Checkout while the slot is held for 30 minutes. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and you issue any refund from the dashboard under your cancellation policy.
What happens when a client doesn't show up?
Mark the appointment as a no-show. The deposit they paid stays on your Stripe account unless you refund it, each client's record shows their no-shows, and reports show the no-show rate per stylist.
Does it work for spas and massage?
Yes. The Spa & salon business type includes a “Client intake” form (first visit, allergies, pregnancy, areas to avoid, pressure preference) and a consent line. Answers marked private are encrypted at rest. SplitForms is not HIPAA compliant and does not sign BAAs.
Does SplitForms replace my salon POS?
No. There is no point of sale, retail inventory, payroll, commissions, tips, gift cards or memberships. If you need those in one place, a dedicated salon suite is the better fit.
