No backend to build

Your form posts to one splitforms endpoint — no server, API route, or SDK. splitforms is the backend.

Straight to your dashboard

Every submission is saved to a searchable dashboard and emailed to you — spam filtered before it lands.

Team Seats, built in

No glue code, no third-party middleman — it ships as part of splitforms and works from your first submission.

Copy-paste ready

Replace YOUR_ACCESS_KEY with the key from your splitforms dashboard. No SDK to install, no build step — the same html you already write.

How to set it up

How to set up Team Seats.

How team seats flows through splitforms — what you do, what we do, and what lands in your inbox.

Invite by email

Dashboard → Team → Invite. Enter your teammate's email address; the invite holds a seat for seven days.

They accept and sign in

Your teammate opens the invite link and signs in with their own email. From then on they land in your workspace.

Work from one inbox

Members see your forms, submissions, and integrations, and their changes — statuses, stars, archives — are visible to everyone. Remove a member any time from the Team page.

How team seats works

How does splitforms handle Team Seats?

Team seats let the people who handle your leads work in your splitforms workspace with their own login, instead of sharing one password or forwarding emails around. From Dashboard → Team, invite a teammate by email; the invite holds a seat for seven days, and once they accept they sign in with their own email and see your forms, submissions, spam queue, and integrations. Route the same submission to an email inbox or a webhook at the same time — nothing here is one-or-the-other.

  • Three seats on Pro and Annual, in addition to the owner
  • Each teammate signs in with their own email — no shared passwords
  • One shared inbox: statuses, stars, and archives are visible to everyone

How SplitForms works

What happens after someone submits your form?

splitforms receives the submission, filters spam, saves it to your dashboard and emails you — then, on paid plans, sends it on to your webhooks and integrations. No backend infrastructure to build.

Connect & automate

Where can submissions go besides email?

On paid plans, submissions can also go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier or any signed webhook — and splitforms works on the platforms you build on, from WordPress and Shopify to Next.js. With Stripe connected, your forms can take payments too.

Common questions

Team Seats questions.

View all FAQs
How many team members can I add?

Pro ($5/month) and Annual ($49/year) each include three seats in addition to the owner, at no extra cost. Pending invites count toward the three until they're accepted or expire after seven days. Free accounts can't invite members.

What can team members see and do?

Members work in the owner's workspace: they see its forms, submissions, spam queue, and integrations, and can update lead statuses, star, archive, and export. Inviting and removing members stays with the owner.

Do teammates need their own splitforms account?

They sign in with their own email address through the invite link. They don't need a paid plan of their own — the workspace's plan applies.

How do I remove someone from the team?

The owner removes them from Dashboard → Team, which frees the seat immediately. A member can also leave the workspace from their own Team page.

What happens to the team if the owner downgrades to Free?

Paid features, including team access, follow the owner's plan. On Free, members can no longer be invited and paid features stop for the workspace; the owner's forms and submissions stay in place.
