No backend to build

Your form posts to one splitforms endpoint — no server, API route, or SDK. splitforms is the backend.

Straight to your dashboard

Every submission is saved to a searchable dashboard and emailed to you — spam filtered before it lands.

Airtable, built in

No glue code, no third-party middleman — it ships as part of splitforms and works from your first submission.

How to set it up

How to set up Airtable.

How airtable flows through splitforms — what you do, what we do, and what lands in your inbox.

Open Integrations → Airtable

Choose the scope — every form, or one form — and click Connect.

Authorise the base

Airtable's OAuth screen asks which base splitforms may use. splitforms adds a 'SplitForms submissions' table with starter fields.

Submit a test

Submit the form. A record appears within about a second, and new form inputs become new fields automatically.

How airtable works

How does splitforms handle Airtable?

splitforms writes every form submission into Airtable as a new record, in real time, with no personal access token to manage and no Zapier in between. In Dashboard → Integrations → Airtable, choose whether the connection covers every form or one form, then authorise through Airtable's own OAuth screen and pick the base. Route the same submission to an email inbox or a webhook at the same time — nothing here is one-or-the-other.

  • Native Airtable OAuth — no personal access token to create or rotate
  • splitforms creates the table and adds fields for new inputs automatically
  • Real-time records, about a second after submit

How SplitForms works

What happens after someone submits your form?

splitforms receives the submission, filters spam, saves it to your dashboard and emails you — then, on paid plans, sends it on to your webhooks and integrations. No backend infrastructure to build.

Where can submissions go besides email?

On paid plans, submissions can also go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier or any signed webhook — and splitforms works on the platforms you build on, from WordPress and Shopify to Next.js. With Stripe connected, your forms can take payments too.

View all FAQs
How do I send form submissions to Airtable without Zapier?

Open Dashboard → Integrations → Airtable, choose every form or one form, and connect through Airtable's OAuth screen. splitforms creates a 'SplitForms submissions' table in the base you pick and adds a record for every submission.

Do I need an Airtable personal access token?

No. The connection uses Airtable's official OAuth flow, and splitforms stores and refreshes the tokens server-side. You can revoke access from Airtable at any time or disconnect in the dashboard.

Which plan includes Airtable?

Airtable is included on the paid plans: Pro ($5/month) or Annual ($49/year). There's no per-record fee beyond your monthly submission allowance.

What happens when I add a new field to my form?

The first submission that includes it creates a matching field in the Airtable table automatically, named after the input's name attribute. Values are written as text so a new input never breaks the sync.

What if Airtable is down or rejects a record?

The submission is always saved in splitforms first, so nothing is lost. The integration page shows the last error so you can fix the connection; the next submission resumes syncing.
