We use a hidden honeypot field. Bots fill it; humans don't see it. Triggered submissions are stored and silently flagged as spam in your dashboard so you can audit the false-positive rate. Real submissions hit your inbox. No CAPTCHA — your visitors stay frictionless.

Yes — webhooks are free on every plan. Paste a Slack incoming-webhook URL or Discord webhook URL and we auto-format for that destination. Or send raw signed JSON to any URL (Zapier, n8n, your own server). Google Sheets coming via Zapier or via direct integration on Pro.

Submissions live in Supabase Postgres with row-level security — only you can read your own rows, even we can't read them via the API. We never share, sell, or train models on submissions. EU data residency is on the roadmap.

File uploads work through the Storage integration. Use multipart/form-data, connect Storage in the dashboard, and splitforms accepts up to 5 files per submission at 10 MB each. Text-only forms work without any storage setup.

Swap the form's action URL to https://splitforms.com/api/submit and replace the access key. Your existing field names work as-is — name, email, message, etc. Migration usually takes under five minutes per form. We have step-by-step guides for each competitor.

We're early — splitforms.com is in v0 launch. Today the API runs on Vercel + Supabase (multi-region edge + Postgres). A formal SLA with credits will land alongside the Pro plan. Real-time uptime status will publish at status.splitforms.com once we're past launch.
