Terms of service

By using splitforms.com ("the service") you agree to these terms. We've kept them as short and plain as we can.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity under your account. Keep your access key safe — anyone who has it can submit forms on your behalf, which counts against your monthly quota. You can lock your access key to specific domains in the dashboard to mitigate this.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- send spam, phishing, harassment, or unsolicited bulk email
- collect data subject to specific legal regimes (HIPAA, PCI-DSS) without explicit prior agreement
- circumvent quotas, rate limits, or our spam filters
- distribute malware, illegal content, or infringe others' rights
- resell the service or wrap it in a competing product
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If your account is suspended, we'll email you the reason and (where possible) give you a chance to fix it before deletion.
Free and paid plans
The Free plan is free forever for personal and commercial use up to 1,000 submissions per month. Paid plans are billed monthly or as one-time payments and unlock higher quotas plus features detailed at /#pricing. You can cancel any time; canceling stops future charges and downgrades you to the Free plan.
Refunds
Monthly plans are not pro-rated on cancellation — you keep access for the rest of the current billing period. Lifetime / one-time purchases are refundable within 14 days. Email hello@splitforms.com to request a refund.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't promise an uptime SLA on Free or Pro plans. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. We don't take responsibility for downtime caused by upstream providers (email delivery, DNS, payment processors).
Your content
You retain all rights to the data you and your form submitters send through the service. We only process it as needed to deliver the service to you (see our Privacy Policy).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
Changes
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email registered account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
