Recruitment Form Template

Recruiters waste hours on vague 'we need a developer' briefs. The recruitment form forces the hiring manager to define the role, level, salary band, and deadline — so the search starts with a real brief, not a wishlist.

How to add it

How to add a Recruitment Form to your site.

To add a Recruitment Form to your site you need three things: a free splitforms access key, the HTML snippet above, and your key pasted into it. No backend, database, or CAPTCHA library — the form posts to one URL and every submission lands in your inbox and dashboard.

Capture the role and level

Required: job title, department, seniority (entry / mid / senior / lead / exec), employment type (permanent / contract / temp), headcount. Seniority drives the salary band and the sourcing channel.

Capture must-haves and budget

Top 3 must-have skills, nice-to-haves, salary range or bill rate, location (on-site / hybrid / remote), and target start date. The salary field is non-negotiable — searches without a budget waste everyone's time.

Route to the recruiting team

Webhook the brief into your ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) as a new requisition, or into Bullhorn / Vincere for agencies. Recruiter starts sourcing against a real brief, not a hallway conversation.

What's included

What's in this Recruitment Form template?

Every internal recruiter and agency account manager knows the bottleneck: hiring managers who can't articulate what they're hiring for. The role-brief form forces the conversation before the search — title, seniority, must-have skills, salary band, location, and deadline. Without those fields, recruiters spend two weeks sourcing the wrong candidates and lose the hiring manager's trust. With them, the shortlist arrives in days. For agencies, the same form is the client intake that scopes the placement fee and exclusivity terms. Salary band and must-have skills up front — recruiters source against a real brief, not a wishlist.

Questions

Recruitment Form questions.

View all FAQs
Should the salary band be visible to candidates?

Increasingly yes — pay-transparency laws in NY, CA, CO, WA, and the EU require salary ranges in job postings. Capture the band on the internal brief form; publish it on the public job ad. The internal form is where the band gets agreed between hiring manager, finance, and talent acquisition.

How do we handle approvals for new roles?

The form is the requisition — capture hiring-manager justification, budget code, and headcount approval. Webhook into Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or your approval tool (Pipefy, Process Street) so finance and leadership sign off before the recruiter starts sourcing. No approval, no search.

What about executive vs high-volume hiring?

Different forms, different workflows. Executive searches need a confidential brief, comp benchmarking, and a retained-fee structure — capture those fields separately. High-volume hiring (retail, warehouse, customer service) needs shift patterns, location count, and ramp timeline. Branch the form on seniority.

Can this integrate with Bullhorn, Vincere, Ashby?

Yes — webhook the JSON. Bullhorn and Vincere (agency CRMs) and Ashby / Greenhouse / Lever (in-house ATS) all accept inbound via API or Zapier. The brief lands as a job order or requisition with the must-haves and salary band pre-filled.

How do we set realistic deadlines?

Capture the hiring manager's target start date AND the recruiter's realistic time-to-fill for that role (industry benchmarks: 30-45 days for individual contributors, 60-90 days for senior, 90-120 days for exec). The form surfaces the gap and forces a conversation before the search stalls.
